Why I Started BEARDMATE

I started BEARDMATE because I kept running into the same annoying problem.

You leave the house with your beard looking and smelling fresh… then life happens.

Coffee. Lunch. Sweat. Wind. A long day at work. A flight. A camping trip. A burger with a bit too much sauce. Suddenly your beard doesn’t feel as fresh as it did in the morning.

And the worst part? There’s usually nothing you can really do about it.

You’re not going to jump in the shower at 2pm (well, you don't always have a chance/time, right?) You’re not going to wash your beard in a public bathroom sink. And most beard products are made for the morning routine — not for the middle of the day when you actually need a quick fix.

That’s where BEARDMATE came from.

I wanted to create beard care that actually fits into real life. Not a complicated grooming ritual. Not ten products lined up on a bathroom shelf. Just simple, practical products you can use when your beard needs a reset.

After lunch. Before a meeting. After the gym. On a trip. At a festival. While camping. In the car. Wherever.

Our cleansing wipes are made for those messy moments when your beard has picked up food, smell, sweat, or just that “I’ve been out all day” feeling. A quick wipe and you’re good to go.
